The Story
There is a bomb threat to Boston. New friends and fellow spies, Emily Cartridge and Benjamin Locke are working to uncover the plot. William Shepard agrees with them. Not only does evidence add up, but he has learned to never underestimate the enemy. Staged in 1776, the characters find themselves in Boston, their hometown, uncovering an unlikely plot against the Revolution—one that could put their closest friends and brothers-in-arms in jeopardy. All while keeping hidden from Emily’s three sisters, Caroline, Esther, and Beth, and nosy Aunt Miller. What Emily, William, and Benjamin do not know is the clever wit of the enemies they must face—and the costs that come with failure.

About the Director of Unmasked - Patty Everett
Patty Everett, a Jacksonville native, is a seasoned actor, stage manager, and director. She has taught children’s theatre classes for JPII Homeschool and The Northeast Florida Conservatory. Patty is a member of the board at Orange Park Community Theater and is a member of the Mandarin Community Club. Patty is also a published author of medical journals, freelance works, and a children’s book entitled “Pajama Pirates”. Her second children’s book, “Pajama Princesses,” will be released this autumn. Patty’s first novel is currently in the works, as well. This is her third show with Act II Players.

McKenna Rowell has a passion for storytelling. From fictional scenarios to historical events, she is constantly finding new stories to tell. She loves to tell stories of bravery and selflessness, and hopes one day her stories can touch the hearts of many.
